Junior Development Tennis
Tennis and tennis instruction are our our specialties. Six indoor hard-courts provide players with the ideal venue for tennis lessons or a match with a friendly adversary.
A deposit is due with completed application to reserve a space. If your child is taking the full 28-week indoor season, you can choose to pay with our Auto-Pay system. This will split the payments into six equal payments taken between October 1 through March 1 on your chosen credit card on file. For 14-week sessions your Auto Pay will be split into two equal payments on on October 1 and November 1 for the first 14-week session and February 1 and March 1 for the second 14-week session. Full balance is due prior to the first class unless a payment plan has been scheduled. Prior to the beginning of the first session, you will receive a confirmation and release form which must be returned to TCR prior to entering the program.

Development Class
Ages 5-17
Levels include beginner through tournament competitor. Classes are grouped by level and age with 3-5 students per class per pro running Monday through Sunday. Our goal is to provide a fun and fast-paced environment where your child's skills and love for this life-long game are sure to grow.

Junior Membership Privileges
From the date of your deposit until the end of the session, your child will have full club privileges. These include the use of our junior Olympic pool, basketball gymnasium, ping-pong rec hall, sun deck and our Gallery Grill. Junior members may bring friends, siblings, or Mom and Dad for a daily guest fee. This includes non-reserved walk-on use of the tennis courts or reserved use at a reduced rate. Mom and Dad are then welcome to access the adult-only fitness center, pool and aerobic classes.
Make-Ups Lessons
Just call us when your child is going to miss and you may schedule a make-up lesson any time during the remainder of the season.
Professional Tennis Instruction
Our professional tennis instructors are chosen with both experience and personality in mind. We pride ourselves in creating a most fun and friendly productive atmosphere.
Transport
Door-to-door transport is offered from home or school. TCR picks up from most Manhattan and Riverdale schools. Transport by TCR is treated most seriously. Our drivers are trained to conduct themselves as you, the parents, would hope. All drivers are year-round employees of TCR, driving TCR's 15-passenger vans and minivans to maximize safety. All vehicles are equipped with two-way communications to keep the office in constant contact with drivers.
New Match Play Format
Fridays 8:00-10:00pm:
Intermediate players and above, ages 11-17. Pro monitored two-hour sessions.
Saturday & Sunday 7:00-10:00pm:
Singles tennis matches scheduled for players in advance. Tennis matches will be scheduled, as available, between 6:00pm and 10:00pm.
For those capable of playing sets, 90 minutes will be reserved and an appropriate opponent will be booked.
For younger, just beginning to hit students, an hour will be reserved for practice hitting games between players of similar ages and levels. Parents should call by Thursday to reserve a time for their child, allowing the club time to find a partner. (Brochure with schedule, rates & application)

Tennis Camp
The goal for all kids at TCR is to instill a greater love for tennis than when they first arrived. This will be done in a caring and safe environment that is certain to make your child enjoy their experience. Mornings bring a fundamental instruction period along with a gym sports/field game period. After lunch your camper will have a swimming period and a point-play instructional period, as well as match-play period.
